:As many of you know, life has its many tragedies that come at the most unexpected times.
:Early Tuesday morning, a great friend, Christopher D. Legg (tt.net alias chrisdlegg) passed away as a result of a fatal automobile accident. Although he was not a very active member, he acquired enough information from various sources on this forum to undertake a complete motor rebuild. With the help of a great friend and fellow tt.net member, Willie Coffey (wcoffey), he was able to nearly complete this build before his life was taken prematurely at the young age of 25.
:He could say nothing but positive things about his life, as he was an aspiring actor and was anxiously awaiting to go back to school full-time during the spring. For those of you who had the opportunity to meet Chris, you know he was an all around first class guy. He attended his first meet/tech day at Bernie's last year, and although his Z overheated, forcing him to leave his car at Bernie's garage (mind you this is an hour drive each way), he saw it as another of life’s many obstacles and never complained once. And through all the sweat and tears that were poured into his upgrade to 555 injectors, I leave you with one of his tt.net posts, very much characteristic of Chris' being: How to Pull the Plenum from the Z32
:Many people have successfully completed this task and have documented the process in detail. I am here to tell everybody that despite what instructions one might follow, there really IS only two tools tha t are needed. One is a tool by the name of Big Willie, the other is commonly referred to as the nectar of the gods, a.k.a. beer. Both are full bodied, but only one never complains and ALWAYS gives the best head. :We have truly lost a unique individual. Chris was a real respected, well rounded individual who would stop to offer a lending hand at anytime. A great friend, brother, and son, he will surely be missed. Thank you for your support during these trying times and everyone helping to keep Chris' outgoing spirit alive forever!
:Chris, we miss you man. I promise that we will finish the engine build and get your Z back on the road, just like you would have wanted!
